Is there water in the River?

The park is located between two locks so our water levels have little fluctuation - the river is full and wide.

Do you have ensuite sites?

Unfortunately not yet, the park has three amenities buildings so you are never far from one.

Is the river fenced?

No, the river is not fenced.

Is the park actually "ON" the river?

Yes, absolute river frontage.

Do you allow dogs/pets in the park?

Sorry No....not even little or well behaved ones

Can i have a fire on my site?

Fires are not permitted on park sites.

Can you fish in the River?

Yes definitely and being in SA you do not require a fishing licence.

Can my children bring their bikes or scooters?

Yes they may, road and park rules apply.

Is there a boat ramp?

There is a boat ramp at the entrance to the park.

We are staying in cabin accommodation, what do we need to bring?

If you are staying in a villa, although all bedding and bathtowels are provided we would suggest you bring beachtowels for the pool and river. If you are staying in studio or standard cabin accommodation you will need to provide your own single bedding or you may pre arrange hire for the bunk room.
